Murillo’s Nottingham Forest exit now ‘inevitable’

Nottingham Forest are bracing themselves to lose defender Murillo next summer after his stellar form, sources told Football Insider.

The 22-year-old has caught the eye of top European clubs with his performances in the 2024-25 season.

Murillo has been widely linked with potential moves to Real Madrid and Barcelona, while Nottingham Forest turned down offers from Premier League sides in the most recent summer transfer window.

Sources say the left-footed defensive ace’s exit is now “inevitable” next year following his rise to stardom in England.

The Sao Paulo-born ace has played 90 minutes in each of Forest’s five Premier League games this season.

He formed a formidable partnership with Nikola Milenkovic, who arrived at the City Ground in the summer.
