Nottingham Forest fans stunned by what Morgan Gibbs-White did in England win

Nottingham Forest fans were impressed by Morgan Gibbs-White’s performance as England beat the Republic of Ireland 2-0 at the Aviva Stadium.

Lee Carsley’s first game as England manager saw a comfortable victory thanks to goals from Declan Rice and Jack Grealish as his side dominated.

However, Forest fans were focused on another England debutant, Gibbs-White, who received his first professional call-up after coming off the bench in the 77th minute.

He became the first Forest player to play for England since Stuart Pearce in 1997, and fans were impressed by his first international appearances.

The attacking midfielder replaced Grealish as the game drew to a close but showed flashes of brilliance despite his limited time on the pitch.

One particular highlight was a perfect pass to Arsenal’s Bukayo Saka, and he was unlucky not to get an assist.
