White Sox prospect Garrett Schoenle talks to 21Alive about his 2024 season

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) – Garrett Schoenle just wrapped up a remarkable season with the Double-A Birmingham Barons.

The former Northrop baseball star put up some stellar numbers, finishing the regular season with a 4-3 record and a 1.67 ERA in appearances at the High-A, Double-A and Triple-A levels. He finished the year as champions, as the Barons won the Southern League title.

Schoenle also threw two combined no-hitters: at Triple-A Charlotte on June 16 and at Birmingham on July 20.
