Coldplay breaks Taylor Swift’s record with 10 concert dates at London’s Wembley Stadium

Coldplay have extended their residency at London’s Wembley Stadium to 10 shows, meaning they will surpass Taylor Swiftcurrent record.

Swift, 34, became the first solo artist to play Wembley eight times in a single tour, after bringing The Tour of the Ages to London this summer. Swift performed to sold-out crowds at the venue throughout June and August.

Coldplay – which presents Chris Martin, Guy Berryman, Phil Harvey, Will Champion and Johnny Buckland – was initially scheduled to follow suit with the same number of shows in August 2025 on its Music of the Spheres go through. The band announced on Thursday, September 26th that they have added two more performances.

Pre-sales for the first eight shows at Wembley have now ended. General sale of all UK shows will begin tomorrow at 9am BST.”

Of course, there is no bad blood between Coldplay and Swift. Martin, 47, frequently covered Swift’s hits during the summer leg of her band’s tour.

During the August 21 show in Vienna, Martin sang “Love Story” with the opening band Maggie Rogers as a tribute to Swift fans who couldn’t attend The Tour of the Ages due to a foiled terrorist plot.
